  • acceptance of these GTC and the sanitary regulations;
  • signature of the boarding contract;
  • payment of a 50% deposit (may be waived for very short stays).

  • the accommodation type;
  • the food;
  • any additional care or services requested.

Any additional day, night, or service will be invoiced according to the current rate communicated to the client.

Article 8 – Payment

The deposit is payable upon booking. The balance is payable at the latest upon the dog’s departure.

Payments can be made by [cash, standard bank transfer, or Wero].

In the event of a stay shortened at the client’s initiative, the days reserved but not used are due at a rate of 50%.

A cancellation clause must remain proportionate to the damage suffered and must not create a significant imbalance to the detriment of the client.

Article 10 – Cancellation by the Kennel

The Kennel may cancel the boarding stay when it can no longer provide it due to an event beyond its control, a sanitary issue, a material impossibility, or a case of force majeure.

The sums paid for services not performed are then reimbursed, unless an agreement allows for the stay to be postponed.

The Kennel may also refuse or interrupt the stay if:

  • the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • the dog does not satisfy the admission requirements;
  • its sanitary status presents a risk;
  • its behavior seriously compromises the safety of people or animals.

When this situation results from important information concealed by the client, the expenses already incurred and the services actually performed remain due.

Article 11 – Arrival and Departure

The client agrees to respect the agreed dates and times.

In the event of a delay, they must notify the Kennel as soon as possible. Any additional boarding day is invoiced according to the current rate and subject to authorized capacity limits.

The dog can only be handed over to the client or to a person previously designated in writing, who is able to provide proof of identity.

Article 12 – Food and Treatments

Food is provided by the client according to the terms specified in the contract.

When the client provides food or medication, they must be supplied in sufficient quantity, in identified packaging, and accompanied by precise instructions.

The Kennel only administers medication upon presentation of a valid veterinary prescription and according to the terms accepted in the contract. It may refuse a treatment that is incompatible with its means or that requires veterinary supervision.

Article 13 – Veterinary Care

In the event of illness, injury, or worrying behavior, the Kennel attempts to contact the client or the person designated for emergencies.

If the situation requires it or if these persons cannot be reached, the client authorizes the Kennel to consult the veterinarian designated in the contract or, failing that, any available veterinarian.

Except in the case of proven fault by the Kennel, the costs of consultation, transport, analysis, medication, care, and hospitalization are borne by the client. Exceptional decisions and the maximum amount authorized outside of vital emergencies are specified in the individual contract.

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, the veterinarian decides on the necessary actions in compliance with their professional obligations.

Article 14 – Liability

The Kennel agrees to provide attentive care to the dog and to take reasonable measures necessary for its safety and well-being.

It is liable for damages resulting from a proven breach of its obligations. However, it cannot be held liable for damage caused by:

  • an illness, fragility, or prior condition not attributable to the boarding stay;
  • inaccurate or omitted information by the client;
  • the unpredictable behavior of the dog;
  • non-compliance with sanitary instructions;
  • an event of force majeure.

No clause in these GTC can suppress or reduce the rights granted to consumers by law.

The client certifies that they hold a civil liability insurance policy covering any damage likely to be caused by their animal.

Article 15 – Personal Belongings

Objects entrusted with the dog must be identified. The Kennel does not guarantee the replacement of toys, baskets, blankets, leashes, or other objects damaged by the dog, except in the case of proven fault on its part.

Article 16 – Non-Collection of the Dog

If the dog is not picked up on the agreed date, the Kennel attempts to contact the client and the person designated for emergencies.

The additional days and costs necessary for the animal’s well-being remain due. If there is a persistent lack of response, the Kennel will implement the procedures provided for by the regulations, without being able to immediately consider the animal as abandoned or dispose of it freely.

Article 17 – Right of Withdrawal

For a booking concluded remotely or off-premises, the right of withdrawal regime depends on the exact characteristics of the service.

Accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, or leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period are excluded from the right of withdrawal. As the application of this exception to animal boarding is not expressly designated by the text, it must be validated for the booking method used by the Kennel.

When the right of withdrawal applies, the client has a period of fourteen days to exercise it. If the service is to begin before the end of this period, the client must make an express request. Once the service has been fully executed with their agreement and recognition of the loss of this right, they can no longer withdraw.

Article 18 – Personal Data

The data collected is used to manage bookings, ensure the care of dogs, communicate with clients, establish invoices, handle emergencies, and comply with legal obligations.

The data is accessible only to authorized persons and, when necessary, to veterinarians, authorities, or authorized service providers. They are kept for the duration necessary for these purposes and for legal obligations.

The chosen mediation entity is: CNPM – MEDIATION – CONSOMMATION. Article 20 – Force Majeure

Neither party can be held liable for a delay or non-performance resulting from a case of force majeure recognized by French law and jurisprudence.

The affected party informs the other party as soon as possible. The parties will primarily seek to postpone the boarding stay. Failing that, services not performed are reimbursed, less any services already performed and expenses legitimately incurred when permitted by law.

Article 21 – Applicable Law and Disputes

These GTC are subject to French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts according to legal rules. No clause deprives the consumer of the right to bring an action before the court having territorial jurisdiction in accordance with the French Consumer Code and the Code of Civil Procedure.
